About Lawrence M Holmes
Lawrence M Holmes is a 19 year veteran of cable and broadcast television. He is currently working as a Web Producer for NECN.com in Newton, MA.
Prior to his recent return to Boston, he worked in three of the largest markets in the United States.
His career has included serving as Assistant Producer for a five-part Emmy award winning series at WRC/NBC George Michael Sports Machine in Washington DC.
For ten straight years he served in a variety of roles at CNN NY, where he worked directly on coverage of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the Torino Olympics and other breaking news stories.
He also recently produced an exclusive Death of Captain America story with Marvel Comics that aired on eight shows with five different networks, and for which the associated CNN.com web site received 700,000 hits within a 12 period following the launch.
Lawrence has a Masters in Digital Media from Northeastern U. and a BA in Communications and Film from Clark University.
